Eligibility and How To Apply

We are looking for adventuresome and innovative educators who are interested in natural and cultural conservation, sustainability, and life-long learning. Educator fellowships are awarded through a competitive application process. Applications are considered based on available funding and application quality. Fellows are assigned to projects according to their interests, skills, availability, project need, and grant restrictions.

Eligibility

The educator program is for in-service K-12 classroom educators in the United States. However, Earthwatch’s funding changes yearly and funding can sometimes be restricted specific criteria such as geography, subjects taught, or type of school.

Please complete the Interest Form below to find out if Earthwatch has funding for which you are eligible.

You will be contacted if Earthwatch has relevant grant funding and direct you to an Educator Application where you will be asked to provide more information. If you’re not eligible for any of our fellowship grants, we’ll keep your form on file and notify you when we have funding for which you are eligible.

You are NOT eligible if you have received more than one prior Earthwatch fellowship or, if you received a fellowship last year.
