UNESCO
Working with the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to protect World Heritage

Currently, Earthwatch operates projects in over a dozen World Heritage sites, from Belize to Australia. In 2004, Earthwatch and UNESCO's World Heritage Centre signed an agreement to increase Earthwatch volunteer activity in World Heritage sites, and to work together to identify new projects in these important areas.
