Earthwatch recruits paying volunteers from all over the world to work alongside conservation scientists on projects ranging from helping to save leatherback sea turtles in Costa Rica, to monitoring the effects of climate change in the Arctic.

Earthwatch does not employ the scientists or research staff that run the expeditions we support - these people generally work for universities or other research institutions.  Earthwatch staff are involved in management, administration, communication, recruitment and development of various Earthwatch programs and partnerships designed to engage people in scientific field research and education to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment.

Earthwatch Australia headquarters are based in South Melbourne, Victoria.

Currently there are no employment opportunities with Earthwatch Australia.
