Earthwatch operates around the world bringing people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds to work together on its research projects for a sustainable environment.
As a responsible environmental organisation, Earthwatch strives to deliver a safe, enjoyable and meaningful experience for its volunteers that enables them to make a valuable contribution to conservation.
To this end, Earthwatch Institute is working to achieve standards that ensure a high quality experience for its volunteers on the projects that it manages, and we are working with other Earthwatch offices to agree an international set of volunteer standards for all Earthwatch projects.
Our field research and field management team are responsible for delivery in this area.
