Caroline Bayer
- Partnerships Manager
Caroline Bayer came to Earthwatch with 13 years of local, state and federal Government experience in major contract management, environmental strategy development, and database and asset management – including a short stint in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Caroline has taken part in several Earthwatch expeditions, both as a supporter in 1998 and as a staff member. Along with the majority of our volunteers, she was greatly inspired by her first expedition researching bottle-nose dolphins and aspired to work for Earthwatch. Caroline joined Earthwatch in 2007.
Caroline's passion for the environment and the natural world led her to the decision to pursue work in her true field of interest. She has travelled the world extensively spending plenty of time outdoors in many amazing and challenging places, and is a keen photographer.
Caroline started out as Fellowships Officer coupled with management of the supporters and donors program. Caroline is now Partnerships Manager, overseeing and delivering the organisation’s corporate and philanthropic partnerships, TeachLive and Student Challenge education programs.
