Looking for a fun and interesting way to raise funds for a school project or environment day?
Want to see your friends dressed in their worst or best green clothes? Want to encourage people to bring their lunch food ‘nude' to school without any plastic wrapping? Think it would be cool to switch the lights off during your classes? Got any other ‘bright' ideas for helping the environment?
Look no further, you can help Earthwatch by holding a ‘Green Day'...
There is no doubt that every little bit counts.
Natalie Mizzi from Catholic Regional College Caroline Springs, raised funds for Earthwatch with her own Green Day in August 2009. Through their generous support, Natalie and her school have contributed directly to helping Earthwatch bring research scientists and the general public together to work towards creating a sustainable future for our environment.
"We have enclosed an award for your great efforts as an organisation. We are a new school with a little population so we were not able to raise $1000's but this is a good start. I hope you enjoy what we have raised for you because I believe that you deserve every cent of it plus more. Earthwatch is a great organisation and it's great to see that there are people out there making a change." Natalie Mizzi.
