This Christmas. Support our unique wildlife, by simply giving...uniquely.
The white striped bat is undeniably unique. The only microbat that’s echolocation can be heard by the human ear, these heat-sensitive bats make the perfect tool for monitoring climate change.
However, like many animals that live near cities, the white striped bat is considered vulnerable due to such factors as habitat loss and pressures as a result of climate change. We need the resources to find out what changes are occurring and ensure that the animals living among us, including the white striped bat, have a healthy future.
This Christmas we ask you to consider giving an equally unique gift in the form of a donation to ClimateWatch through Earthwatch. For every $20 donation made in the 2012 Christmas Appeal we will send a personalised card to your nominated recipient as well as a ClimateWatch badge. This way they know just how unique and special your gift to them was.
By giving a donation you are ensuring we have the resources to support the science for tomorrow’s future.
