Helly Hansen supports Earthwatch and offers supporters 20% off

Earthwatch volunteers often find themselves in tough conditions.  Whether they are experiencing just how much rain is required to form a rainforest or researching from an igloo in the Arctic's edge, good quality gear is an essential part of any Earthwatch project.  That's why Earthwatch was so excited when Helly Hansen, a specialist provider of high quality, protective technical gear, decided to support our work.

Helly Hansen has created the Helly Hansen Earthwatch enviro bag as part of their Ekolab range.  The Ekolab range was launched in 2008 to try out new ideas, discover ways to address environmental sustainability and reduce Helly's impact on the planet. Helly eliminated harmful PTFE from the waterproof breathable membranes in all of its products, introduced fluorocarbon-free DWR coatings, incorporated recycled fabrics and pursued minimalist design practices that reduce the need for excess resources.
