The University of Western Australia is conducting a study to understand what motivates people to volunteer their time and efforts to Citizen Science programs such as ClimateWatch. As part of the research study, the University of Western Australia is asking for volunteers to complete a short (10-15 minute) online survey.
Why did you decide to become involved with ClimateWatch? Have your reasons changed over time? Has anything stopped you from participating? The survey is especially interested in the responses of those who have stopped participating since one of the objectives of this research is to identify barriers.
It doesn't matter if the participants are a frequent contributor, new to the program, do not contribute very often or have ceased participating. All responses will be useful to the study as it will help contribute to improve the organisation of the program to increase participation and overall success.
