Colour it green - Earthwatch and KPMG's first ever Colouring Competition

KPMG has been a proud supporter of Earthwatch since 1993. To mark the achievements of Earthwatch’s work and to help celebrate our 40th Anniversary, KPMG and Earthwatch launched the first ever KPMG and Earthwatch Colouring Competition for family and friends of staff.  The initiative was designed to help launch the KPMG Employee Fellowships for 2011, which will see four KPMG staff from across the country join Earthwatch expeditions. It also aims to engage KPMG staff, their families and friends in environmental issues in a new interactive and fun way.

Artwork for the competition was created by illustrator Chris Johnston, whose work also includes Cadbury’s TV ads and the Victorian Government’s Black Balloons campaign.

With more than 120 entrants from across the country, entries were divided into four age categories, with each entrant receiving a Certificate of Achievement for their efforts. The quality of entries was particularly high and the judging panel made up of KPMG and Earthwatch staff had a fantastic time reviewing the creative efforts. Entrants as young as 14 months old made the task of judging a particularly enjoyable one. Two runners up in each age category from each state received an age-appropriate colouring set, while the overall winners of each age category received a family pass to their nearest Zoo or Aquarium.

Winning entries from each age category are below:

Age 3 and under                                                                                                            Age 4 - 6

Age 7-9                                                                                                                          Age 10-12

A big thank you to everyone who entered!
