Earthwatch is one of the largest private supporters of scientific field expeditions, making grants of over AU$5 million per year. Earthwatch supports scientific field research worldwide. Each year, we receive dozens of research proposals from scientists and we currently fund around 120 projects. The following projects have received Earthwatch support in fiscal years 2006 and 2007.
