Earthwatch Institute's mission is to promote sustainable conservation of our natural resources and cultural heritage by creating partnerships between scientists, educators and the general public. To realize this mission, Earthwatch Institute has three recognized areas of focus: Research, Education and Conservation. This year, Earthwatch will sponsor over 130 scientific field research projects in 49 countries and 18 American states, making estimated volunteer field grants of $3.7 million.

The Americas Stakeholder Program Intern will assist members of the Americas Program team in a variety of projects related to expedition management, fellowships management, and the development of outreach and curriculum support materials.

As an intern, you will gain experience using fundraising tools such as Wealth Engine and a Customer Relationship Management database. You will work with the development team to update and interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations on fundraising strategies.
The objective of this role is to provide support to program coordinators to deliver an excellent Earthwatch experience. Your focus is to assist on delivering program activities on time, budget and required mission standards, working with your team members to deliver results against the agreed business plan.
