Our offices are in the historic Clock Tower Place mill complex in Maynard, Massachusetts, at the intersection of routes 117, 62 and 27. There are blue and white signs for Clock Tower Place on many of the local roads in Maynard, and the actual clocktower can be seen from many of the streets in town.
Getting to Clock Tower Place (Google Map)
From the South and West (Rhode Island/Worcester)
• Rte 495 North to Rte 117 (Bolton, Exit 27)
• Turn left (East) onto Rte 117 and follow for approximately 8 miles
• Turn left onto Main Street in Maynard at traffic light (also Rte 62)-Clock Tower is the
large mill to your right
• After roughly 0.7 miles, the main entrance to Clock Tower Place will be on your right.

From the North and East
• Rte 495 South to Rte 2 East (Exit 29A)
• Follow Rte 2 East to Rt 27 South (Exit 42 towards Maynard, Acton)
• Follow 27 South for approximately 3 miles
• Take right onto Nason Street, just past Cumberland Farms Store
• Stay on Nason across Summer Street
• Bear right onto Main Street
• Clock Tower Place is the big mill complex on your left.

From Boston/Southern Massachusetts
• Mass Pike West to Rte128/95 North
• Exit 26 Weston (~2 miles), go around rotary bearing left, then right onto Rte 20
• Follow Rte 20 until intersection of Rte 27 in Wayland (~5 miles), right onto Rte 27
North
• Follow Route 27 to 117 West and take a left onto 117 West.
• Take a right on Sudbury Street (across from the elementary school and baseball field)
• and follow to the end.
• Turn right onto Main Street.
• Take your first right at the main entrance to Clock Tower Place.

From Logan Airport
• At Airport exit, follow signs to Ted Williams Tunnel (toll)
• Go through Williams Tunnel and continue straight onto I-90 West (Mass Pike)(toll)
• Follow I-90 West to I-95 (also Route 128) North.
• Take exit to Route 20 West.
• Follow Route 20 until you see Route 27 North.
• Follow Route 27 until 117 West where you take a left onto it.
• Stay on 117 West for approximately .5 mile.
• Take a right on Sudbury Street (across from the elementary school and baseball field)
• and follow to the end.
• Turn right onto Main Street.
• Take your first right at the main entrance to Clock Tower Place.

By Public Transport
Earthwatch Institute can be reached by commuter rail train from Boston's North Station, or from Porter Square in Cambridge (on the T's Red Line) to South Acton, and a free shuttle bus can be called to meet the train to bring you to Earthwatch in Building 3 of the Clock Tower Place complex. The train schedule is online at the MBTA web site. See the schedule for the South Acton/Fitchburg line. Let your Earthwatch staff host know which train you'll be on, and they can call Clock Tower Place security at 978-461-1450 ext 5, to be sure the shuttle bus will meet that train.
Parking
Parking at Clock Tower Place can be a challenge. You can park:
• In the visitor spaces in the Main Street lot
• In any other available space in the Main Street lot
• In any unreserved space in the parking garage
• With the Valet parking at the bottom of the parking garage (you are responsible for any charges).
• At the two-hour metered parking spaces on the street.
• In the Lower Sudbury parking lot across the mill pond - turn left on Main Street, take the first left onto Sudbury Street.
Finding Our Office
You can either walk through Building 1, or enter at the lobby between Buildings 1 and 3. Go left from the lobby, and Earthwatch will be directly in front of you.
