Energy and Utilities
Earthwatch uses a green energy provider for all electricity requirements. Good Energy provides 100% renewable electricity sourced from the natural energy of wind, sun or running water. We have used Good Energy since 2002.
The environmental impacts from other utilities, such as water and heating oil are currently being evaluated, with 'greener' outcomes to be integrated into the next review of our Environmental Management System.
At the international level, Earthwatch will be addressing energy and utility use through planned office sustainability audits.
