Bluewater
Bluewater is Europe's leading retail and leisure destination located in Kent. They have been supporting Earthwatch since 2007 through an awards scheme for young people.
The Bluewater Young Environmentalist is an annual competition aimed at inspiring young people, between the ages of 16 and 18 to take a life-long interest in the environment. The competition, now in its fourth year, has to date seen nine teenagers from Bluewater win a fully-funded place on various Earthwatch research projects. In 2011, three young people will win an opportunity to be involved with a research project.
