Max Nicholson Group
Individuals who donate £1,000 or more to Earthwatch (Europe) are recognised (during the fiscal year of their gift) as members of the Max Nicholson Group, named in memory of Max Nicholson (1904-2003) who helped to found Earthwatch (Europe) in 1985 and served as our Chairman from 1985 to 1990.
Members of the Max Nicholson Group enjoy a unique relationship with Earthwatch. They are honoured guests at special events and have opportunities to get involved in the most exciting developments in the organisation.

Trustee Charles Swingland is the honorary Chair of the Max Nicholson Group.
During 2008, Earthwatch seeks 25 individuals to found the Max Nicholson Group and shape its future direction and, in so doing, set an important example for others to follow. Over the next five years, members of the Max Nicholson Group will help Earthwatch (Europe) raise £1,000,000.
