Student Expedition Process

Student Expedition Process Step 1 Get Ready…

If your teacher is offering an Earthwatch Expedition for your high school, ask him or her for information to share with your family. Included in that information will be invitations to informational meetings you’ll want to attend.

Print out a Group Volunteer Registration sign-up sheet, complete it out with your parents, and return it to your teacher.

Student Expedition Process Step 2 Get Set…

Attend information meetings with your parents. You’ll learn all about the expedition your teacher is planning, the research you’ll be helping with, the people you’ll be working with, and the experiences you’ll enjoy.

Learn more about Earthwatch Expeditions by exploring this website and reading our blogs and testimonials. Carefully review the Expedition Briefing you’ll receive about 90 days before your trip. You can also read or watch videos about the area, the animals, and the issues you’ll be experiencing first hand.

Work with your parents and teacher to complete and submit required forms, plan your travel, and pay for your trip.
