Earthwatch Events 2008
kindly supported by
At each of our events you will have the opportunity to speak with leading scientists, Earthwatch volunteers and staff, and learn how you can get directly involved in conservation - whether by joining an Earthwatch project as a volunteer field researcher, helping us in our work as a supporter or donor, or by taking action in your own home or community.
Most our events are free and everyone is welcome. If you would like to make a donation on the day in support of our work this would be much appreciated.
Meet the team and find out what it's like to volunteer on a research expedition.
Hear about South Africa's brown hyenas and wildlife of the Mongolian Steppe.
This year's annual debate will prove to be as lively as ever.
Past Events for 2008
The marine environment has long been one of our priority areas, and dolphins, perennial favourites, have featured in previous lectures on projects in waters as far afield as Scotland and Brazil. The lecture discussed the Mediterranean and where the work of our scientists is markedly complementary.
Hippos, cocoa farming, manatees, rock fowls and community-based tourism.
