Become a Capacity Development Partner

Earthwatch works with a range of partners to develop and implement programmes, from local community groups in Africa, to international NGOs and governments. We seek to establish long term relationships with partners to guarantee delivery of our research projects, and in collaboration with Earthwatch scientists, ensure that the results of our research are applied locally.

The two main groups of partners which Earthwatch works with are programmatic partners that aid in the organisation and delivery of projects and nominating partners who nominate individuals to participate on our training projects.

See a list of our partners and how we work with them:

"After my trip to Madagascar in September 2005, I did a presentation in Cameroon from what I had learned. A few months later I got a new job as Bird Research Technician in charge of bird ecology study and Avian Influenza monitoring in Cameroon. That is why I remain very attached to Earthwatch"
