Earthwatch offers a number of opportunities that can enhance corporate reputation and build relations with an increasingly environmentally-conscious public whilst enabling us to raise funds to support our research and education programmes.

Marketing

Cause Related Marketing (CRM)

Earthwatch works collaboratively with our corporate partners to deliver mutual benefits through creative and innovative CRM activities. Such initiatives send a clear message to your customers and serve to strengthen corporate reputation whilst delivering funds in support of our vital work.

Sponsorship
  • Events - there are always opportunities to sponsor Earthwatch events, including our programme of lectures, seminars and awards ceremonies. Learn how the Mitsubishi Corporation Fund for Europe and Africa is supporting the 2008 events programme.
  • Publications - each year, Earthwatch produces a number of publications to communicate our work and results to key stakeholders.
  • Website - the Earthwatch website currently attracts over 130,000 unique visits every year but we are constantly seeking ways to make it more dynamic and widen our educational reach.
  • Awards - since 1971, we have sent more than 85,000 volunteers into the field to work with over a thousand scientists. This kind of energy yields results! Earthwatch corporate partners can recognise the impact of the research by sponsoring an award. For example, since 2001, Aviva have sponsored an Award for Climate Change Research recognising outstanding work by Earthwatch scientists in this important area of research.

Philanthropy

There are many ways your company can support Earthwatch's work, for example:

  • Including Earthwatch as a beneficiary on your company's payroll giving scheme, one of the most tax efficient ways of supporting our work.
  • Nominating Earthwatch as your company's "Charity of the Year."
  • Donating restricted funding towards Earthwatch's Community Investment Programmes.
  • Donating unrestricted funding for activities to carry out Earthwatch's charitable aims.
