Dear Earthwatcher,

If you're feeling energetic and want to fly the flag for Earthwatch, then why not consider running for us in the Virgin London Marathon 2010? By taking up this sporting challenge you will be keeping fit — and helping to protect the planet's wildlife and habitats!

In the month marking World Habitat Day (6 October), please join us at our October lecture to hear our scientists talking about their work with sea turtles, whales and dolphins. Meeting Marine Needs takes place at the Royal Geographical Society in London on 15 October. We hope to see you there.

Warm regards,

Nigel Winser
