An evening with Kate HumbleKate Humble, BBC television presenter and long-term Earthwatch supporter, will be giving a talk organised by Travel Africa in association with Trailfinders at the Royal Geographical Society on Thursday 12th March (doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start).

For 10 years Kate had built up an obsession about travelling across the Sahara. That dream was to become a reality when she joined a group of Mali salt traders and 50 camels. Share her experiences from the five week, 1,500 km trip that changed her life...

Kate's talk will be supported by stunning photography and numerous anecdotes, and will also cover some other African favourites such as Namibia, Madagascar and the Seychelles, locations of several Earthwatch projects, which our staff will be happy to talk about on the evening.

There will be ample opportunity for Kate to answer your questions.
