GSK has been a long term CERG member and supporter of many areas of Earthwatch's work, including field projects in Mallorca and the Czech Republic, a Business and Biodiversity booklet and, most recently, supporting a three year programme of Environmental Awards for school teachers to participate in Earthwatch field research projects in the UK. GlaxoSmithKline developed a Sustainable Development Policy Support Partnership with Earthwatch in order to establish whether - from the perspective of a scientifically oriented environmental stakeholder - the company manages its biodiversity impacts appropriately. GSK has been a supporter of the Earthwatch Balloon Debate since 2004.
