Planned Giving

A planned, charitable gift to Earthwatch is an investment in the future: yours and ours.

We invite you to join many donors and team members who are helping to ensure the future of Earthwatch by including Earthwatch in your financial plans for the future.

Bequests

Did you know that 7 out of 10 Americans die without a valid will, leaving costly probate matters and delays for their heirs?

By naming Earthwatch as a beneficiary, your assets will come to us after your lifetime without going through probate. Your estate is entitled to a charitable deduction for the amount of the gift. Retirement plans, financial accounts and insurance policies provide opportunities for naming Earthwatch as a beneficiary.

How to Name Earthwatch as a Beneficiary

Make a bequest through your will or revocable living trust

You may even designate which initiative you wish to direct your gift to support. The legal language for wills, beneficiary forms, and estate plans is:

Earthwatch Expeditions, Inc, a nonprofit corporation, organized and existing under the laws of Massachusetts, and with principal business address of Earthwatch Institute, 114 Western Ave, Boston, MA 02134 U.S.A.
