Earthwatch Institute’s mission is to promote sustainable conservation of our natural resources and cultural heritage by creating partnerships between scientists, educators and the general public. To realize this mission, Earthwatch Institute has three recognized areas of focus: Research, Education and Conservation. This year, Earthwatch will sponsor over 130 scientific field research projects in 49 countries and 18 American states, making estimated volunteer field grants of $3.7 million.

HCP Administrative Assistant

To provide a high level of administrative support to the US HSBC Program staff.

Learning and Communications Manager, Latin America

The Learning & Communications Manager will deliver a consistent, high quality experience to all Field Program participants at the Latin America Regional Climate Center based in Rio Cachoeira Natural Reserve, Antonina, Paraná State. The L&CM will also manage all field-based communications and work closely with the Earthwatch (US) communications department to seek communications opportunities for Earthwatch.

Donor Relations Manager

The Donor Relations Manager helps ensure optimal constituent relations, increased awareness of organization resources, and continued expansion of its donor base.

Regional Director, West Coast

The Regional Director, West Coast, will report directly to the Chief Development Officer and work closely with the CEO and senior leaders at Earthwatch, through a remote working arrangement. The Regional Director, West Coast will identify strategies and methods to develop and cultivate long-term, relationships with partners, donors, prospects, family foundations and volunteers to achieve Earthwatch’s mission, increase revenue, and fulfill strategic objectives.

Major Gifts Officer

As a member of the Development Team, the Major Gifts Officer will participate in a robust major gifts program. Reporting to the Director of Major Gifts, the Officer will manage the fundraising activity of approximately 125 major donors and prospects nationally who are capable of contributing major gifts of at least $5 – 25,000 annually. First year revenue goal is at least $175,000; second year revenue is $500,000.
