Earthwatch Institute’s mission is to promote sustainable conservation of our natural resources and cultural heritage by creating partnerships between scientists, educators and the general public. To realize this mission, Earthwatch Institute has three recognized areas of focus: Research, Education and Conservation. This year, Earthwatch will sponsor over 130 scientific field research projects in 49 countries and 18 American states, making estimated volunteer field grants of $3.7 million.

Director of Annual Fund

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director of Annual Fund will be responsible for leading and growing a strategic and effective annual fundraising and membership program. The Director will oversee all annual development efforts (excluding major gifts), achieving a $650,000 annual goal for FY10, and overseeing a progressively increasing revenue goal.

Youth and Family Program Manager

The Youth and Family Program Manager (YFPM) is responsible for overseeing the implementation and administration of a portfolio of field-based research projects. The YFPM is responsible for a portfolio of research projects serving families and high-school students and is the primary liaison between Earthwatch Institute and the Scientists who lead Earthwatch research projects. The YFPM will ensure the delivery of a high-quality field research experience for team members and EW Scientists in accordance with Earthwatch policies, procedures, and best practices.
