In a session focused on implementing organisational change Gary, a senior learning manager, will present on how to engage employees in sustainability. His presentation will centre on the global research and engagement programme developed by Earthwatch and HSBC.
For the past five years, Earthwatch has worked closely with HSBC to develop and refine the world’s largest employee engagement and learning programme focused on climate change. Independent research into the programme’s effects on participants was conducted by Ashridge Business School in 2010.
The theme of this year’s multi-disciplinary conference, chaired by Professor Carla Millar, is Organisational Change and Transformational Vision. Aimed at business leaders and policy makers, the conference focuses on a change of mindset and on implementation of the sustainability agenda.
