Volunteer and field research photo collage

Earthwatch Institute is a diverse community of scientists, educators, students, business partners, and passionate volunteers who work together to change the world, one place-and one person-at a time.

We gratefully acknowledge the generosity of all those individuals, organizations, foundations, and corporations who've joined our efforts to engage people worldwide in the highest quality environmental and cultural science efforts. The support of volunteers, members, and other donors at every level is an integral part of Earthwatch's ability to fund the research and education programs leading the way to healthier oceans, finding effective means to address and combat global climate change, and providing the keys to sustaining cultural and natural resources on a rapidly changing planet.

Volunteers
More than 3,300 international volunteers joined at least one Earthwatch expedition in 2007. In an effort to honor their commitment to being wise stewards of natural resources, we offer their names here rather than in the print version of our Annual Report.

Donors
The contributors listed gave their generous support to Earthwatch during the Fiscal Year 2007.

International Boards of Directors and Trustees
Earthwatch is fortunate to have highly involved members on our Boards of Directors and Trustees and gratefully acknowledges their leadership.
