Earthwatch wins RealPlayer Video Award
02/05/13: Earthwatch are pleased to be named Humanitarian Award Winner in the RealPlayer Video Visionary Awards.
“We often rely on our fantastic volunteers who send us their snapshots and videos,” says Earthwatch Media and Communications Officer Rob Stringer, who was interviewed for the Award, which recognizes our 40-year history of using images and video from the field to communicate our research and volunteer experience.
“We can show the active nature of our expeditions… and capture those moments of engagement when something 'clicks' in the volunteer’s brain, and the research and educational perspective really comes together for them.”
