Earthwatch InstituteDolphins of Greece

Dear Earthwatcher,

I am pleased to say that Earthwatch Institute continues to develop into one of the most exciting and effective international organizations working in the world today.

Recent weeks have seen the historic opening of our Regional Climate Center in rural China, joining a global network of sites in four continents monitoring the impacts of climate change on the world's temperate forests. We also were proud to launch ClimateWatch, a citizen science enabled website that for the first time allows individuals across Australia to monitor environmental change in their own backyards.

Around the world with the help and assistance of people just like you we're now able to leverage our environmental and cultural research and conservation efforts to better understand some of the key environmental challenges facing the world today. To see a few examples of the results, please take a look at our recently-released 2008 Science Report.

If you're not already a volunteer, member, or donor, please consider joining this worldwide movement for a sustainable future today - we're doing our best to give you many ways to become part of the solution, and you can explore the options at www.earthwatch.org/getinvolved.

Sincerely,

Ed Wilson,
President and CEO, Earthwatch
