With all the attention given to resolving the complex issues related to climate change, it is sometimes easy to forget that we still have yet to deal with some of the simpler, yet equally persistent threats to our environment. I encourage you to read the articles on our work in the Bahamas and on a new study of sea turtle mortality, both of which highlight the persistent threat of pollution to coastal areas and in our oceans.
