Earthwatch Institute’s mission is to promote sustainable conservation of our natural resources and cultural heritage by creating partnerships between scientists, educators and the general public. To realize this mission, Earthwatch Institute has three recognized areas of focus: Research, Education and Conservation. This year, Earthwatch will sponsor over 130 scientific field research projects in 49 countries and 18 American states, making estimated volunteer field grants of $3.7 million.

- Most of these are administrative positions at our Maynard, MA office and are not in the field or associated directly with any project unless posted otherwise

- Internships are volunteer, but earn credit toward Earthwatch expeditions.
